After nine years Greg has decided to step down from his role as co-editor on Physical Therapy in Sport. I would very much like to take this opportunity to thank Greg for all his hard work and dedication to the Journal over this time. When Elsevier took over the publishing of the journal back in 1999, the journal was largely UK based with respect to the authors, readership and editorial board. Greg was then based at La Trobe University and came on board initially as an Associate Editor. Since then, and with the help of Greg's vision and drive, the Journal has grown beyond recognition into a truly international journal for healthcare professionals working with the physically active.

It seems to be even more poignant at a time when we have been successful with the application for indexing on Medline. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Greg over the last nine years and I will miss his professionalism, humour and friendship. Greg, thank you and best of luck with all your ventures in the future.
